Some exciting news from MSL China today. Last night, they were honored at the China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA) Awards, and walked away with a hat-trick of wins including IKEA ‘Live the Dream’ in the Marketing Public Relations (Product) category, Kraft Hope Kitchen in the CSR category and Kraft Foods China Pacific Whole Grain in the Product Launch category. All three agencies were recognised at IPRA’s Golden World Awards this week, making MSLGROUP one of only three agency networks to walk away with a hat-trick of awards in the global competition.
Hanmer MSL won in the “Consumer PR for an Existing Service” category for its “Bringing Bond Back” campaign for STAR Movies; MSL New York was recognized in the “Launch of a New Product” category for the introduction of P&G’s Scope Dual-Blast mouthwash at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. The training, ‘Leadership skills: Transforming Managers into Leaders’ took us through an intensive curriculum, hands-on training, role plays and various activities over a span of three days in Mumbai last week. Jaideep Shergill, our CEO kickstarted the training by introducing us to the trainer and making it mandatory that we deposit our cell phones on a separate table and refrain from using it during the session. Hanmer MSL India had the privilege of hosting our colleagues from Publicis Consultants Paris – Anne-Isabelle Court, Jean-Jacques Rebouil and Rachel Kolbe – who had rightly chosen to visit Mumbai, India as their mobility experience!
In the two days they spent with us, we had a lot of things to share and a lot of things to learn. While the social media team at Hanmer MSL showcased some of the work that was being done in India, such as the award winning eBay.in campaign (see video below) the Publicis Consultants team impressed us with their integrated Road Safety campaign and the AXA brand repositioning campaign. The Mumbai team enjoyed the interactions and discussions and we are certain that the Publicis Consultants team and the Hanmer MSL team in India will continue to work closely together going forward.
