Paris, June 13, 2013– MSLGROUP is pleased to join with Changing MO LLC to co-sponsor a forum session at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity that Renee Wilson, North America President of MSLGROUP will lead on stage. The Forum session will be based on the new book by MaryLee Sachs, What the New Breed of CMOs Know That You Don’t. MaryLee was the President and CEO/US and former worldwide Head of Consumer Marketing at a major WPP firm where she spent her most recent years focused on the CMO community.
The session is called, Partners in Crime: How CMOs Find and Foster the Best Talent. It will be held on Monday, June 17 at 11:00 CET in the Audi A theater and is open to all Cannes delegates. Wilson will host the on-stage discussion session with two CMOs — Julie Woods-Moss, the Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Communications and Douwe Bergsma, the CMO of Georgia-Pacific.
Wilson said, “As MaryLee Sachs has written in her book, ‘a common strength of the CMO is a passion for recruiting, developing and retaining the best talent.’ How CMOs manage a diversity of talent is critical to effectively connecting brilliant creativity to an organization’s business priorities.” The Forum offers a unique way for delegates to get in-depth insight into key industry issues. Six daily sessions, each lasting 60 minutes, feature presentations and discussions on a particular theme, giving delegates the unique chance to interact with speakers.
