The agency’s heavy investment in Learning & People Development and focus on helping its consultants grow continues to attract some of Asia’s top talent. The 16 appointments announced today further strengthen MSLGROUP’s capabilities in Asia within corporate advisory and reputation management, marketing communications, financial communications, public affairs and social engagement across Greater China, India, and Singapore.

Amit Misra has joined MSLGROUP in India as an Executive Vice President and Director of Public Affairs based in Delhi. In this role, Amit serves as the overall market leader for MSLGROUP in Delhi and the Practice Leader for Public Affairs across India. In addition, he will work in close conjunction with 20:20 MSL in Delhi for business development, talent training, key client relationship management, and providing public affairs counsel to clients. Amit is a seasoned communications professional with over 18 years of experience spanning corporate and consulting roles in several international agencies, and is experienced in leading operations, building portfolio of marquee clients, and strengthening the company’s strategic communications practice.

Rahul Lakhpati has joined MSLGROUP in Mumbai as an Account Director with over 12 years experience in public relations and journalism, specializing in strategic communications and content-focused storytelling. Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Rahul worked at several international agencies and Lokmat, one of the largest Indian daily newspapers as a Sub-Editor and Reporter.

Hitesh Malhotra has joined MSLGROUP in India as a Group Account Director of Social Hive based in Mumbai. Hitesh is responsible for managing the social media marketing portfolio to develop integrated communications and engagement strategy for the online community. Prior to joining MSLGROUP, he worked at with social media marketing.

Rekha Rao has joined 20:20 MSL as the General Manager of Mumbai office. Her key responsibilities include operational performance, growth, profitability, talent management and client engagement. Rekha comes with over 17 years of experience straddling advertising, corporate communications, marketing communications and public relations. Her work has been recognized by prestigious awards including six India SABRE Awards and one AFAQS.

Nischinta Amarnath has joined 20:20 MSL as an Associate Account Director based in Delhi. Nischinta’s strengths lie in conceptualizing, leading and executing strategic communications campaigns to deliver compelling content-focused storytelling for clients across diverse sectors. Nischinta will also lead the company’s reputation and branding function in India. Nischinta has over 12 years of communications and media experience across the EMEA, US and South Asian markets. Prior to joining 20:20 MSL, she was a Wall Street commentator in New York.

Madhavi Mukherjee has joined 20:20 MSL as an Associate Account Director based in Bangalore. Madhavi has 10 years of professional experience, specializing in providing advisory in marketing communication and branding, media verticals, CSR strategies and digital communications. Prior to this role, Madhavi worked for MSLGROUP in India as well as other communications agencies.


Gaurav Trivedi has joined CNC earlier this year and was recently promoted to the position of Managing Director of the Delhi office, where he contributes with extensive experience in management consulting, corporate affairs and financial analysis and works closely with MSLGROUP in India. Gaurav comes with a diverse industry and consulting expertise and an international working experience in the USA, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.


Lusha Niu has joined MSLGROUP China as a Director of Financial Communications and Corporate Advisory in Shanghai. Lusha possesses deep experience and knowledge in corporate advisory and public affairs in Asia and North America. Lusha’s sector background includes private equity, banking, technology, media, telecommunication, professional services, FMCG and educational organizations. Lusha was previously with an international agency known for public affairs in its Investment and Government Relations practice counseling multinational corporations on their China strategy.

Lan Jie has returned to MSLGROUP China as a Director in the Marketing Communications practice in Shanghai. Known as a crisis and issues communications expert, Lan Jie previously worked at MSLGROUP China where he counseled ABSOLUT VODKA and a number of luxury and lifestyle brands. Lan Jie also held significant communications and public affairs roles with Johnnie Walker (Moet Hennessy Diageo), Yum! Brands, Philips and Rodenstock.

Jojo Dai has joined as an Associate Director in Shanghai, bolstering the Financial Communications and Corporate practices in Shanghai. She brings more than 10 years of experience in corporate, healthcare, and marketing to MSLGROUP China. Jojo was previously with another large international agency advising corporate and reputation strategies for multinational brands operating in China.

Lynn Cui, based in Beijing, has joined MSLGROUP China as a Senior Consultant in the Public Affairs practice. She is a seasoned professional in government relations, public affairs, market entry, and policy research and analysis work, and has rich experience in counseling clients in various sectors including energy, technology, and agriculture. Before joining MSLGROUP, Lynn worked at another large international PR firm, where she advised on government relations, public affairs and CSR communications.

Vanessa Li has joined MSLGROUP China as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Communications practice. Vanessa comes with a journalism background and is well connected in the Chinese media environment.

Dorothy Fung has joined MSLGROUP as a Senior Consultant in the Consumer Marketing practice based in Hong Kong. A seasoned marketing and public relations professional, Dorothy has accumulated 10+ years of experience in hospitality, travel and tourism, consumer technology and luxury marketing.

MSLGROUP in Taiwan

April Chang has joined MSLGROUP as the Director for Learning and People Development (L&PD) in Taipei. April’s remit is to enrich the company’s offering in talent and training development, and oversee the marketing and reputation function for the agency. April comes with 11 years of experience in integrated marketing communications as well as talent planning and management.

Fu Yumei has joined MSLGROUP as a Senior Associate Director based in Singapore. In this role, she is responsible for leading the agency’s client servicing team to support P&G’s Healthcare business. With 20 years of experience in marketing communications, Yumei is seasoned in multiple disciplines across PR, strategy planning, promotions, exhibitions, events and project management for Fortune 500 companies and international advertising and PR agencies in China and Asia Pacific. Yumei has 10 years of in-house healthcare experience, and previously played the role of Head of Communications and Strategic Marketing Manager for Bayer, leading various new product launches in China and Asia Pacific.

Leslie Lin has returned to MSLGROUP as the Regional Reputation and Branding ManagerAsia, spearheading the consultancy’s overall branding and communications function in the region.
