It has just been announced that I will take up the post of President of the PR Jury for this year’s Spikes Asia Awards 2012.
As most of you know, Spikes Asia is the region’s own ‘Cannes Lions,’ and is one of the most celebrated and prestigious creativity festivals in the world. I am thrilled to have been asked to take on this role, and look forward to helping define and honour the groundbreaking creativity in the PR industry today.

Recently, I was invited to chair a panel debate at HEC Montreal on ‘Newly Emerged Economies and Traditional Multinationals.’ It was a lively session, which included Mr. Zubin Irani, Senior Managing Director, Commercial Companies, United Technologies India; Mr. Robert Bieler, Vice President of Investment for SNC-Lavalin Capital; Mr. Liping Xie, Senior Managing Director, UTC Aerospace-China; and Dr. Jianwei Zhang, President of Bombardier China.

Today, we announced the exciting news that MSL China and Eastwei MSL will unite to form a single, flagship international public relations and social media agency in China. The union of these two, fast-growing teams with complimentary expertise is an exciting development for MSLGROUP – for as we continue to grow across Asia through both new hires and agencies, we need to continue to organize ourselves in fresh and innovative ways.

The economic uncertainty in the US and Europe has caused every MNC to look even more closely at Asia, so I shared my insights on some profound trends that are driving business transformation across the region.
